The question every medical aspirant asks: How to study PHYSICS??

If we make an anology here, If NEET journey was a family, biology is the youngest child: gets all the attention it wants, chemistry is a eldest child, gets normal attention and respect, while physics is middle child, always ignored!! Jokes apart, almost every medical aspirant has this "pichchle janam ki dushmani" with physics. But you must admit that no vehicle with three wheels can run smoothly with one wheel broken, similarly, you cant clear NEET by just studying Biology and Chemisty. The question of HOW?still remains unanswered.
First of all, let us divide the subjects in two parts. Theory and numericals.
you can read a chapter once and revise it once or twice as you need. Make it a rule to solve at least 100-150 questions for every chapter. Always stick to one or maximum two books, as reading and solving multiple books will leave you with no time to revise earlier books again, which is VERY, VERY important.
While you solve questions, make sure you mark the questions you get stuck at. Use star or hash or any mark which you wont be using for anything else, remember, only those questions you found difficult on the first go. Write the solution for those in a seperate notebook which you can refer to for the upcoming exam revision. "Exam" brings me to my next point..
Make it a habit to revisit a question paper after you  get the answer key and solutions. see the questions you did wrong or could not solve, write the answers to those questions after asking doubt to a teacher so that you dont face difficulty in the same question in next exam.
Now, coming to the last and main issue..The complain I often hear from the aspiring medicos is I do understand the theory, but I am unable to solve questions. Numericals is the major chunk in the NEET physics question paper which makes it obligatory to solve the numericals. If you have to do something compulsorily, better learn the right way to do it. Let's see how to solve a numerical in a proper stepwise manner.

STEP 1: BE CRYSTAL CLEAR WITH THE CONCEPT. : before you start to solve any question, make sure you have read the chapter properly. Know every formula and understand the definitions. If possible, understand the derivation too.
STEP 2: Read the question. Make sure you understand the question. Pay special attention to words which are important, like object starting from rest, surface is frictionless, frame moves or acclerates etc. IF you dont read the question properly for the first time, it is possible that you wont be able to get it and will waste time. Also, do read the options too, as you can understand what is the precision you need to solve question or can get the answer even with the bit of round off.
STEP 3: Note what is asked in the question, also, note what is given. Recall from the theory part "what is the formula or two which can link the given to asked.
STEP 4: Put the values in formula and voila! you have the answer.

The main part here is understanding the question and forming the link. Once you get habitual to get this linking part, you can solve the questions easily. Sometimes, a question might need multiple formulas linked with each other, that makes it a bit complex but, if you follow the rule of linking properly, you can solve any question easily.

ADDITIONAL TIPS:
*Its better to study the basic mathematics part very thoroughly as it helps you a lot to solve the question. Vectors, Diffrentiating, integrating etc. must be studied.
*Dedicate at least two hours every day for the physics, read and revise for half an hour and solve MCQs for one and half hour.
*Pay attention to the time while solving, always set up goals, e.g. I am going to solve these 20 questions in 30 mins. When doing this, if you get stuck at a question, mark it and move ahead. come back to that question after the set time is over and retry it.
*Never leave any doubt uncleared! However silly your doubt is, ask the teacher. Keep asking till you understand.

At the end, Stay motivated, keep going! If you have any questions, leave a comment, I will try to reply the earliest. Do follow the blog for the post notifications about the upcoming posts. Fight the blues!

June 15, a normal day was going on, when I opened instagram, I was shocked! the reason? The brilliant actor Sushant Singh Rajpoot had hanged himself to the death! How is it significant for you guys? Because, the primary suspected reason for his suicide was depression.
You people are studying for NEET. I don't know if it will be your first or last attempt, what I know for sure is it's better not to get the prefix Dr. rather than getting a prefix 'late'.

"gharwaalon ki ummedein thi mujhse"
"abhi kya muh dikhaunga duniya ko"
please... your family would never prefer dead you over failed you! Maybe people would taunt them that you didn't get a seat or are taking a drop, but the same world will curse them for pressurising you too. Remember "duniya" finds faults in masterpieces too.. Yes, it's easier said than done. It is not easy to live with depression. Just one thing, talk it out. Speak with someone in your friends, family, relatives, neighbours any damn person! But don't take extreme steps. If you don't havs anyone, write a diary, vent out your sadness in writing, if that doesn't help, book a session with a psychologist or a therapist.
If a friend is seeking help, lend an ear. No judgements, no suggestions just an ear to listen and assuring tap on a shoulder saying, "don't worry buddy, you'll make through it, and anytime you feel like you won't come to me." Seek a professional help if needed.
There is no shame in failing.. everone fails at some point in their life. The real winner is the one who overcomes his fears, failures and rises up every time he fails.. If life is throwing lemons at you, show her that you are strong.. there is a very good quote of similar meaning in hindi by I don't know who..
"बार बार परस्त हो भी मुकम्मल खड़े है.. ए जिंदगी मेरे हौसले तेरी चुनौतियों से बड़े है!"
Nothing is important than your own life. Remember you don't own your life so you are no one to take it away from the people you love. Suicide might be solution for you, but not for them its not going to do anything except living them helpless.
Bad days are part of everyone's life. Just try fight blues and rainbow of happiness awaits you..

Take care.
Alll the best .
